Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz as a Polish candidate for the Secretary General position
Włodziierz Cimoszewicz is a candidate for the Secretary General position of the Council of Europe – informed Sławomir Nowak from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
“We must use our best people. They should be competent and qualified regardless of political views. We think that former Prime Minister – Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz is the best candidate. We hope that the Parliamentary Assembly will elect Cimoszewicz – added Nowak.
The election will take place in June. Every membership country may put its citizen forward as a candidate.
