Polish PM: the anti-missile shield is a deal between Poland and the US
Polish PM Donald Tusk said in Paris that the issue of the anti-missile shield is the subject for talks between Poland and the United States exclusively. He also reiterated that "third-party countries are not part of these negotiations".
Tusk thus responded to a recent statement by the Russian president Dmitry Medvedev who speaking for the French daily "Le Figaro" had said that Russia was ready to pull out of the project of placing ballistic missiles in the enclave of Kaliningrad near Poland's border if the United States gave up the project of buidling the anti-missile shield in central Europe.
