He assessed the talks with Indian officials as creating favorable perspectives for closer cooperation in the military and technical spheres, mainly in developing new types of armaments.

Minister Klich also emphasized the importance of India as a strategic partner for Poland in the exchange of information regarding the situation in the region as well as in Afghanistan. Warsaw would like to take advantage of this, but is equally interested in maintaining good relations with neighboring Pakistan, the Polish defense minister stressed.
