Poland loses to Slovakia
Poland lost its match yesterday against Slovakia, being beaten 2-1 in the final minutes of the game in Bratislava.
Euzebiusz Smolarek scored for Poland in the 70th minute, with the two Slovakian goals being scored in the 85th and 86th minutes by striker Stanislav Sestak.
Poland is now second in its qualifying group with 7 points. Slovakia now comes out top with 9 points, with Slovenia in third with 7 also. Other teams in the group are the Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, and San Marino.
Poland plays its next qulifying match against Northern Ireland on 28th March 2009.
