Lenovo in purchase talks with Inter Groclin
Representatives of Inter Groclin have confirmed the news that Lenovo, the Chinese PC producer, is interested in purchasing assets from the car seat upholstery manufacturer.
"Representatives of Lenovo have contacted Zbigniew Drzymała [the main shareholder in Groclin]. The conversation concerned the potential purchase of our assets," said Inter Groclin's spokesperson, Jerzy Pięta. He added that the company is interested in the sale as it has to repay large obligations. The firm recently sold its stake in paint producer Altax, for zł.28 million.
Lenovo is said to be mainly interested in the Fatsa plant in Nowa Sól, which could be used as a new plant for computer assembly of the Chinese giant.
