It is an international festival with a mission to present modern music improvised at the top level, with participation of the most excellent representatives of that music.

On sunday in a jazz club "Hipnoza" in Katowice will perform a famous american trumpeter Dave Douglas who is thought to be number one in the world rankings.

There will be also a saxophonist David Sanchez, the 30th of October, guitarist Bill Frisell, 8the of November, The Claudia Quintet together with John Hollenbeck, Drew Gress i Chris Speed, 16th of November.

Herbie Hancock will be the main star of the festival. Awarded with Grammy for the best album, the artist will close the festival on the 30th of November, accompanied by a famous trumpeter Terence Blanchard.
