Do you sometimes long for the sunny blue sky of home with the smell of a braai wafting on the breeze? Do you also miss having a good and decent conversation with friends? Do you miss typical South African humor over an ice cold Hunters or Savanna? If you answered yes to any of these questions, come to the South African Day celebration on the 25th April 2009. It will be a day to remember and full of fun for all.

Where is it? It will be at Wendel’s German Bakery and Bistro http://www.wendels-bakery.com

What time is it to be held? It will start at 10am and the pub will close at 10pm.
Can I bring my kids? Of course! There will be a jumping castle and many other activities especially for kids.

What entertainment will there be? There will be various local bands with South African musicians, a drumming exhibition by South African trained drummers, a South African comedy show and South African magician.

How much will it cost? The charge is NT$450 for adults which includes a meal and also puts you in line for a lucky draw. Kids NT$ 200.

If you live quite far away, make a weekend of it. You can take the HSR and MRT or bus. Spend a night in Taipei. There are many hotels with very reasonable rates.
